No
matter where you may find yourself in life;
In
society, culture or in an institution;
You
will find that there is a standard operating manual
I
say Manual here but I don't mean, your work, school or institution's actual
manual.
You
should probably adhere to those - within reason.
For
me, Manual here means the unwritten norms of niche societies
Such
as your classroom, your group of friend, your family etc
There
will be those who will perfectly understand and follow the manual
And
there will be those who will operate in general compliance with the idea
behind the manual
Then
there will those who will simply throw out the manual
And
finally there are those who don't even understand the manual and cannot use it
I
belong to this category and I think some of you do too
Those
of us who find ourselves in this category
Are
often bewildered at people's response to our ineptitude with understanding the
manual
We
just don't get why we must act a certain way
We
cannot understand why our personality is considered subpar
Because
there is so much that society and culture benefits from our personality
If
who we are is so BAD and so SUBSTANDARD
Why
does society insist of getting the benefits of who we are
We
cannot give our gifts if we do not have our personality
Being
undesirable whilst having great value is difficult .
Necessary
but not wanted
Needed
but despised
That
is what most pills that heal are
That
is what a lot of us are.
Just
as society must accept our personality along with our gift to
We
must accept society's disdain along with the joyful knowledge that we are
needed
We
may stick out and be disdained but the world still needs us.
