They say, 'when you fall; dust the dirt and move on.'
But not all falls are the same.
With some falls, you can't just dust off the dirt and plunge back into life;
When you are scabbed and your flesh is torn and bleeding, you have to wait.
It takes a while to recover from that fall.
Sometime we want to just rush ahead and forget that something went wrong
We want to forget that we failed at what you had put everything into.
We want to pretend that our sacrifices weren't that great
We become convinced that we'll reap elsewhere.
Yet when you have 'dusted' off the dirt
When You are bleeding and in pain, be patient.
A man in pain, hardly makes the right decision because his perception is flawed
His decisions are driven by pain, the need for relief and hiding the wound
Medicine and experience, tell us that, wounds need time to heal.
Wishing it never happened won't erase it
Hiding it won't make it disappear.
But, you can protect the site of injury till it is healed.
Don't let anything contaminate it
Feed yourself the right things to aid healing.
Take the drugs you need to
Avoid situations and things that poke the wound.
In other words...
Don't allow weird habits because you failed
Work to incorporate in your life what will get you out of your mess
Let the Holy Spirit minister to you
Don't be a masochist, always reminiscing or dwelling on the past
Move on and Dwell on what God says only
Be patient with yourself and don't be in a haste
Ask God to Make You Over and heal you.
Remind yourself of your Heavenly inheritance.
