There are those we want with us at Christmas
Then there are those who can actually be there
Though we long for the ones we miss
We treasure the gift of the ones who are here
Though ornaments and decorations remind us
That the ones we cherish cannot be here
We cannot but remember that these frills
Means the world to us because of them
