Life is not perfect
And Christmas may not always be magic
Even the Birth of the Savior
Was no straight road
Animals in the delivery room (a barn!)
All of God in a manger (Animal's food container)
So if life is a mess at Christmas
Hang in there and Muddle through
Because what often lies beyond the mud
Is glorious and worth the struggle
