It's hard for us to see beyond moments
Especially when it's hard and or painful
That moment often captures our entire attention
We can't see tomorrow and the hope it holds
Or even see yesterday and its examples of victory
All we see is: right now, the moment of distress
That moment colors yesterday:
As evidence of constant trouble,
That moment colors tomorrow:
As a continuance of the pain
But here is the thing, the trouble will pass
The same way it did yesterday
How it does though may not be up to us
But trust God to bring you through
And He will because all moments are His.
