They use it to trap minds into a way of thinking
Its practitioners will tell you that:
- Religion will save, enrich or protect you
- Religion is the key to earning favour
- God needs procedures to hear your prayer
- There is a methodology to approaching God
- Trouble is evidence of spiritual disfavor
- People practice other religion are bad
- With God, you need human intermediaries - You must depend on them for guidance
But these are just walls to trap your mind
Built to keep you fearful and dependent on them
If you look beyond those walls, you'll see that:
- It is God who saves, enriches and protects
- God loves you and the point of favour is that you don't earn it
- God is everywhere, He even hears thoughts
- All you have to do is call on Him
- Sometimes trouble is the path to salvation
- People are just people irrespective of religion
- If you can't get to God, how come they can?
- Your dependence should be on God
