I keep finding myself trying to speed through life
I want to do things fast so i can achieve something fast.
But life does not only travel on the fast lane.
There are slow lanes too and they are just fine
Because speed is not everything
Nor is it as important as we may have thought.
This life was designed to have its slow moments like:
The first steps of a toddler
The slow rise of the sun in the morning sky and so on
Because life can be slow and beautiful
It does not mean speed is not beautiful
Not if you've seen a cheetah run
Or seen a horse run free and wild
But we were designed to both run and crawl
So, if you can, take the time to slow down today and just enjoy the beauty of it
