We equate our Mistakes
To stains on a Brand
And we do what we can to correct them
Because we imagine that:
We must BE Something, DO Something
And Most Importantly
We must BE SERIOUS
To be taken Seriously
So it's easy to forget
The Most Fundamental lesson Mistake offers:
That we are Responsible to and for others
And that this responsibility is the most important one
When you recognize your responsibilities to others around you
Mistakes are less likely to occur
And the self image you are working hard to maintain
Will work itself out beautifully
We live in Community
We exist in Community
We share this world
We have Community for difficult days
We have Community for good days
While Community brings Comfort
Community comes at a price
Community must be protected
Protecting Community
Starts with awareness of your responsibility
When you understand how vulnerable it is
When you understand how valuable it is
You will birth a drive to protect it
And Mistakes make you aware
That you have a responsibility to protect community
Your Community, Our Community
Others need you to discharge your responsibilities
You need others to discharge their responsibilities
So they can live better
So you can live better.
So, don't let mistakes drive you to protect your image
Let it show you your responsibilities
When your responsibilities are discharged
You won't have to worry about your personal image
